Cut Paste is vital to protect your Bonsai trees from disease and infection when making large cuts or small cuts on species that tend to ''Bleed". Cut paste is very important and we use it when making cuts on any species of tree. The paste is easy to apply and creates a sterile and moist environment when applied to a cut. This allows the tree to heal rapidly by enabling the cambium around the cut to callous properly reducing the risk of creating an unsitely scar. 
 
We recommend cut paste especially for species like the Japanese Maple as these species tend to "bleed" when trimming or pruning. This bleeding wastes vital energy reserves that the bonsai artist works so hard to maintain.
